Clone Bandits Demiurge Studios2006It takes a tough man to drive a pink tank. Clone Bandits is a modification created for Unreal Tournament 2004 by the Demiurge Studios team in the lulls during our "day job." It effectively shows off Demiurge Studios’ commitment to quality productions and our imaginative design sense.

In a post-apocalyptic future, two warring clans of ruffians and ne’er-do-wells have built their outposts over the ruins of an abandoned military research compound, which just happens to be stocked with life-giving clones. Sweet, sweet clones!

As a "Bandito de los Clones" it is your duty to steal this precious genetic cargo from the other team, lest they sully the delicate ribonucleic strands with their inferior (dare I say - scurvy?) adenine and thymine.

Capture the Clone Pumps to siphon clones from your enemy’s supply or boldly invade their compound, grab Clone Jars, and hightail it back to your own base in a selection of tricked-out vehicles. Drop ‘em off at your own Jar Points to complete the transaction. Trafficking in human flesh was never so easy or fun!

Deus Ex  Eidos (ION Storm)2002The year is 2052 and the world is a dangerous and chaotic place. Terrorists operate openly, killing thousands, while drugs, disease, and pollution kill even more. The world's economics are close to collapse, and the gap between the insanely wealthy and the desperately poor has grown to the size of the Grand Canyon. Worst of all, believers of an age-old conspiracy bent on world domination has decided that the time is right to emerge from the shadows and take control. The year is 2052 and the world is a dangerous and chaotic place. Terrorists operate openly - killing thousands; drugs, disease and pollution kill even more. The world's economies are close to collapse and the gap between the insanely wealthy and the desperately poor grows ever wider. Worst of all, an ages old conspiracy bent on world domination has decided that the time is right to emerge from the shadows and take control. No one believes they exist. No one but you.

* Real role-playing from an immersive 3D, first-person perspective. The game includes action, character interaction and problem solving.
* Realistic, recognizable locations. Many of the locations are built from actual blueprints of real places set in a near future scenario.
* A game filled with people rather than monsters. This creates empathy with the game characters and enhances the realism of the game world.
* Rich character development systems: Skills, augmentations, weapon and item selections and multiple solutions to problems ensure that no two players will end the game with similar characters.
* Multiple solutions to problems and character development choices ensure a varied game experience. Talk, fight or use skills to get past obstacles as the game adapts itself to your style of play.
* Strong storyline: Built on "real" conspiracy theories, current events and expected advancements in technology. If it's in the game, someone, somewhere believes it.
[Valve - GOTY edition]***If there's a thing that doesn't make sense, then it's the early sound cutoff bug this game has on my system. After trying solutions that work in every other game, I found on a forum that switching to sw rendering and back to D3D fixes it temporarily, and it did, even OpenGL rendering didn't have it. But both of those had some other issues I didn't want so I kept looking. Until I switched off vsync, and behold, sound clipping is gone. Fine and dandy with me, except it doesn't make slightest bit of sense. Video card setting that releases the framerate synchronization with screen refresh and allows the game to render more frames somehow allows the game to play the voice overs to the end. Other people have had similar issues with the game and all with different solutions, but those other solutions actually made sense.***Latest version: 1.112fm (as of 2001-04-28?), 1.4 for French

6 de 10***A semi-abstract, semi-cyberspace tactical squad-based combat strategy with ability to give surprisingly complex commands to your troops at about decisecond precision.

Each turn is about 5 seconds of action where you need to plan your moves in a way that avoids unnecessarily loss of life by scanning surroundings, controlling facing, designating targets to focus or ignore, etc. and since actions can cross the timeline between turns, you can easily end up with a turn starting where you have a rocket a millimeter way from your trooper's face with no solution available to save them.

Each singleplayer mission takes place on randomly generated map that is generated again if you restart that mission, disallowing you to grind same level over and over again to win it by brute forcing your tactics (as in, the challenges if not the goals are different on each try).

Multiplayer at the time of writing only has 1-vs-1 battles against human players.***Frozen Synapse is the ultimate tactical game on PC and Mac.

It brings the simultaneous turn-based strategy genre bang up-to-date and lets you give detailed, accurate orders to your squad: classic gameplay with a modern interface. Plan your moves, test them out, then hit the "Prime" button: both you and your enemy's turns are executed simultaneously. Competitive-but-intuitive multiplayer and a huge single player campaign mean that Frozen Synapse will give you hours and hours of tactical delight.

Key features:
* Get a FREE full copy of the game for a friend with every purchase
* 5 challenging multiplayer modes, including the innovative bidding-based "Secure" and "Hostage Rescue"
* 55-mission single player campaign with dynamic dialogue and thrilling near-future narrative
* Powerful Skirmish Generator
* Facebook, Twitter and YouTube integration
* 15 Steam Achievements
* Integrated IRC chat as well as various community features

Killing Floor 2 Tripwire Interactive2016Takes the formula of the first game and pumps it to a more gory and intense zombie limbfest.

Pros:
-Great enemy AI (for a zombie, don't expect advanced calculus)
-Light vs. dark places and itchy placement of objects to hit with them in your escape.
-Good and simple interface.
-You can be the white englishcotish friend of Grandpa "Beetches" Freeman.

Cons:
-Its kind of repetitive, even for its variety of weapons.
-Scarce vertical action situations.

* No jungle.

It blends intense combat, finishing moves, and gameshow-like challenges and rewards to produce an action experience unlike any other. Key Features:
The Blitz mode pits one player or up to four players online against streams of AI controlled robots. In Crossfire mode, players play competitively, six verse six, to destroy the opponent's Money Ball while protecting theirs aided by armies of robots. Monday Night Combat also boasts an extensive meta game that allows players to gain new endorsements and hundreds of new ProTags to show off their accomplishments.
