Crusaders of Might and Magic 3DO2000Crusaders of Might and Magic is a third-person perspective game that mixes elements of action, role-playing and adventure. Warriors of Might and Magic 3DO2000WARRIORS OF MIGHT AND MAGIC on the PlayStation is a straight action game. Each player must take the role of a warrior, and then fight through every level, which is full of enemies residing in this land of fantasy. There are plenty of upgrades to attain, which help to make the warrior stronger, and warriors can also earn rewards for beating the huge bosses. WARRIORS OF MIGHT AND MAGIC doesn't offer particularly deep gameplay, but it does offer a lot for those seeking an action title.***Become Alleron, a hero who must clear his name after being accused of witchcraft. Since it's set in the Might and Magic Universe, this game does have some elements of an RPG, but is really an action game at its heart. Even though your character will grow and become strong as the game goes on, so too will your enemies, keeping Warriors of Might and Magic very difficult from start to finish.

Heroes of Might and Magic  New World Computing1995Heroes of Might and Magic is a turn-based strategy game in which the player takes on the role of one of four different heroes: the warlock, sorceress, barbarian, or knight. As the hero the player must build up his or her castle by adding different buildings to earn different units to strengthen the hero's army with. Units include dragons, cyclopes, phoenixes, paladins, and many more fantasy creatures. Buildings and units cost money and resources. Buildings can also be upgraded to unlock new unit types.

Another aspect of the game is exploring the world and discovering treasures, spells, mines to gather resources, nomad camps, magic lamps, ultimate artifacts, and more. The game uses a top down map in which the player can move his heroes a number of spaces each turn. Whenever the player encounters an enemy hero or castle a battle is shown in a close-up view.

During battles all the player's units are shown as stacks. The player can move these stacks around on a hexagonal grid. Different units have different movement and attack capabilities requiring different strategies to use and overcome.

The goal is to defeat all opponents by conquering their castles and defeating their heroes in battle. The player must also defend his own castles from enemy attacks. The player's heroes can collect spells to use in battle and can boost the units under their command, but they otherwise don't have a presence on the battlefields. The heroes collect experience points in typical RPG manner which boosts their stats. In addition, items can be collected for additional bonuses.***
[22]***A year later they released a Win95 version of the game. The game itself remained unchanged, but it included the DOS-classic 'King's Bounty', CD-Audio and less bugs.

Might & Magic: Heroes VI  Ubisoft (Black Hole Entertainment)2011A quite disappointing entry in the Might & Magic series. Outside the game looks pretty decent, but when you get to play it, it's just not that good. Most obvious flaw is the voice acting (or dialog writing and voice directing), but it extends to graphics (if you just bother to use the zoom function), story writing, UI design, and so forth. The somewhat expected change in design (probably changed with every game except expansions) is mottled, good in places and bad in others and the basic gameplay is the same as it always was. But in the end, the game just feels cheaply made sequel.

There are some changes to basic concepts of the series' gameplay, most notably the perk system, but it does not redeem the game's other flaws.***The adventure in Heroes VI, starting 400 years before events in Heroes V, catapults a family of heroes into a fast-paced epic story where Angels plot to end -- once and for all -- an unfinished war with their ancient rivals, the Faceless.

A legendary Archangel General is resurrected, but with his powers crippled. Plagued by horrible memories of the Elder Wars, he plots to recover his powers and take control of Ashan while destroying both Faceless and Demons in a series of carefully orchestrated attacks and betrayals. He underestimates, however, the power of the all-too-human Griffin dynasty.

The destiny of these Griffin heroes will be determined by our players.

Key Features
* Enjoy the critically acclaimed Heroes gameplay, remasterized with the well-known developer, Black Hole, and in close partnership with the game’s numerous fans.
* Experience the unique mix of Turn-Based Strategy & RPG: Explore extra-large adventure maps, collect tons of resources and build extraordinary cities. Perfect your tactics to level-up your heroes, recruit troops & ready them for combat on exclusive battle maps.
* Shape your destiny: Lead the Heroes of the Griffin dynasty through an intriguing scenario. Choose your path, assume your choices and customize your gaming experience thanks to a brand new Reputation system.
* Rediscover the richness of the M&M Universe: Discover fantastic landscapes and creatures from the world of Ashan. Enjoy improved 3D designs and an exclusive new bestiary.

Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer is a follow-up to the award-winning best seller, Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honour.
[Box blurb]***From official site:
"The world of Enroth has fallen out of balance with the rest of the cosmos. As a result, the gateways to the elemental planes have been opened on your world, freeing the forces of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water to wreak havoc throughout the land.

You must form a party of up to five heroes to unite the human and monster races of the world in time to launch a joint campaign to close the gateways and save Enroth from planetary extinction.

As a novice mercenary hired to guard Dark Elven merchant's trade caravan, your first concern will be to escape the doomed Dagger Wound Islands to the mainland of Jadame.

Next, of course, you'll need to build up enough experience to elicit the help of others in the greatest adventure the world has ever seen.

Allies may be hard to come by in this continent of divided monster kingdoms and tribes, but don't be too surprised to find that your closest allies may come in the most monstrous forms. For amongst the usual Knights and Clerics you might also find Trolls, Dragons, Dark Elves -- or any number of other unexpected races willing to follow you to the ends of the world -- or even further.

As you build your party, gain experience and build up your arsenal of weapons, knowledge, artifacts and spells, you will also have your wits and resolve tested to their limits by the traps and puzzles set by your enemies, as well as by the elementals themselves.

Good luck and Godspeed, young adventurer!"
