WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game  Acclaim;Midway (Sculptured Software)1995Absolutely nothing to do with 'SUPER Wrestlemania' which is very odd. Uses horrible Mortal Kombat graphics and gameplay (at least the SNES version did!).

Avoid at all costs if you value your love of wrestling.

WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game  Acclaim (Sculptured Software)1995Sure, you've wrestled before. Maybe youve tried competing in the Royal Rumble. Maybe you've tried the Steel Cage Challenge. Maybe you've even tried wrestling Raw. So? None of that can possibly prepare you for the wildest, most incredible, action-packed wrestling game ever - WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game! You can be Shawn Michaels and stun your opponents with the spectacular actrobatics of the Frankensteiner, or be the Undertaker and bury your foe's chance of victory with the vicious Tombstone Slam! WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game is all this - and much more! It's two-on-one and three-on-one bouts on the way to the Intercontinental or World Wrestling Federation titles! It's senses-shattering action that spills out of the ring! It's a host of secret moves and maneuvers that you'll learn only through experience in - and out of - the ring! It's the most amazing wrestling action on the mat or in the air you'll ever experience! It's WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game - and it's the most spectacularly sensational wrestling challenge the world has ever seen! 32Xlabelimagesubject
WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game  Acclaim1996Step into the ring with eight of the biggest stars in the WWF including Brett "The Hitman" Hart and the Undertaker. Wear down the opposition with standard wrestling moves, and then climb the ropes for some high-flying action. If you are taking a beating, you can quickly turn things around by using one of the character-specific special moves. Try to stake your claim on the championship belt in WWF WRESTLEMANIA: The Arcade Game.***

WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game  Acclaim;Midway (Acclaim)1995Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE! This has only 6 wrestlers and hideous Mortal Kombat graphics and play style. Yeuck. Acclaim should be ashamed.

WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game Acclaim1995PC conversion of the popular Wrestlemania (circa 1996) game released to the arcades in 1996. The game features 8 fully digitized characters (Yokozuna, Doink, etc. for those of you who want to remember) with their own moves, grapples, etc. and features single player arcade mode, tournament mode, and vs mode for 1 on 1 multiplayer. PSlabelimagesubject
WWF Wrestlemania: Steel Cage Challenge  LJN (Sculptured Software)1992A semi-primitive wrestling game that is in some ways a step down from its predecessor, WWF Wrestlemania Challenge. There is quite a cast, with the regular favorites, as well as newer characters like The Undertaker, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, and Irwin R. Schyster. However, the number of characters seems unnecessary, as they differ only in appearance and theme music. As the title suggests, players can choose to wrestle inside a steel cage and attempt to escape rather than having to go for the pin.

[27]******The second WWF wrestling game released for the NES. Nine characters are available, including The Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, and the "Macho King" Randy Savage. The music reproduces all of the wrestler themes quite well. Not only is there a single-player and tag team mode, but this is the first game I've seen with the ability to have a three-on-three tag match. The movement of your wrestler takes a little getting used to, and the controls aren't quite precise enough. If you need a WWF game for the NES, this one is at least better than the previous Wrestlemania.

WWF War Zone Acclaim1998Wrestling fans can see most of the WWF's biggest stars in this action packed game, including Steve Austin, the Undertaker, Kane, Mankind, the Rock, Ken Shamrock, Bret Hart, and Ahmed Johnson.
Play one of several different modes: challenge mode lets your wrestler compete for the championship belt; weapons matches are falls-anywhere, no-rules kinds of matches, cage matches let you tangle inside the steel cage where the first one to climb out wins. tag-team mode lets you take the action to four-man matches, multiplayer modes include a free-for-all, cooperative cage matches, and tornado mode.

WWF Superstars 2 LJN (Sculptured Software)1992A somewhat simple wrestling game featuring WWF stars like "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and The Undertaker. Unfortunately, all differences in characters are purely cosmetic. However, the game compensates by adding a new steel cage match mode. Play single matches (either alone or as a tag team) or enter the race for the World Heavyweight Championship!

WWF Superstars LJN;Hot-B (Rare)1991The first wrestling game for the Game Boy! WWF Superstars features five wrestlers that compete in a series of one-on-one matches: Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Mr. Perfect, and Ted DiBiase. Prior to a bout, the characters will trash talk with each other (the speeches change depending on which characters are paired up), which is a neat feature. The wrestling itself is similar to Wrestlemania Challenge on the NES, although the characters only really differ by a single move (the third attack after two punches) and in appearance. The graphics are pretty darn good for an early game on the system, though.

Each character has his own signature move that can be done at any time. Aside from the standard one-on-one fight, you can also set up tag matches or Survivor Series-style matches (i.e., teams of four).
