Avatar  Ubisoft (Ubisoft Montreal)2009Seriously, anyone playing this game should NOT map use key to space bar like I always do. The space is hard-mapped to skip dialog and with use mapped to it (the same key that initiates the dialog), you'll miss >99% of the dialogs, makes a rather empty game and if not for the objective marker, you'd be completely lost.***bioroids - the human-Na'vi hybrid remote controlled hosts (Avatars)

Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight  LucasArts1997

[English WIP]
While it aimed to be better than the first Dark Forces, with varied weaponry, lightsaber, force powers, and full 3D control, it loses all its virtues because of mediocre levels, predictable foes and boring design. Not to mention the shorts and the acting skills of the actors. And to top it gives failures constantly, both graphics and game. A pity, because the multiplayer makes it clear how entertaining the game can be with worthy opponents.

8 de 10***Without having played the game, it gives off similar feel to Anachronox, Cybermage and especially Shadowrun (the P&P game, not the botched MP game based on it).

Seems to have some Chinese and Gothic influences in designs.***As a member of the strange secret society E.Y.E, you wake up after a fight in which your fellow teammates were killed. E.Y.E, an armed branch of the Secreta Secretorum is attempting a coup against the all-powerful Federation, a coalition of several worlds and planets that rule with an iron fist.

To complicate matters, E.Y.E itself is plagued with its own internal conflicts between the Jian faction and the Culter faction, to which you belong. Your loyalties are torn between Commander Rimanah, your superior and the chief of the Secreta who is a separatist with an unstoppable ambition, and the "Mentor" your friend and instructor. The "Mentor" tries at all costs to unite the two rival factions. In doing so, you are thrust into the middle of a fratricidal war frought with political conspiracies and quests for power in which different groups and megacorporations are implicated.

These troubles set the stage for an attack by an unknown force bent on destroying humankind.

Key features:
* Multiplayer co-op modes directly influence solo play, and vice-versa. The limits of solo and multiplayer games are finally left behind.
* Psychological and mental trauma management.
* 25 weapons, different shooting modes, dynamic precision, drilling shots, iron sighting, extended zoom.
* Complete hacking system with game play impact
* 9 devastatingly subtle PSI powers.
* More than 20 NPC with non-scripted, fully reactive and efficient AI, endowed with a sense of initiative. Bloody close combat with technical detail. Incredible physical movement realism thanks to Source Engine physics.
* Excellent replayability - primary and secondary missions, dynamic environments, non-linear level progression, and random NPC spawn, type and appearance. Death doesn't penalize players: no need to restart the current mission.
* Open-level gameplay for hours of fun without reloading.

Granado Espada  K2 Network;Nival Online (IMC Entertainment)2007
그라나도 에스파다
literally reads
geuranado eseupada
which is transliteration of "granado espada".***Sword of the New World: Granado Espada was developed by Hakkyu Kim, CEO of imcGAMES and creator of Ragnarok Online. In Korea, Sword of the New World not only won the award for Best Graphics but also captured the 2006 Presidential Award for Game of the Year. K2 Network now brings this amazing game to the West, and its localized version will feature an enhanced storyline, a more robust character creation process, better pacing, AI optimization, a more intuitive control system, hundreds of new quests and many other game enrichments. Set on a mysterious, dangerous continent with a story inspired by Europe's exploration and conquest of America, Sword of the New World is destined to dominate the world of MMOs by virtue of its groundbreaking design features, fast-paced gameplay and amazing graphics.

Revolutionary Gameplay

Sword of the New World gives players more options, variety, entertainment and challenges than any other MMO can by virtue of its unique design features. With multi-character control (MCC), players are able to command up to three characters simultaneously. No longer limited to playing one character at a time, players can instantly switch between their favorite character classes or control them all at once. Each one of those character classes - musketeer, wizard, fighter, scout, elementalist, and the unique player characters (UPCs) - acquires, over time, an impressive set of combat stances. Each stance offers unique skills, abilities and equipment options, making every class as powerful as it is versatile. With an entire family of such characters to develop, players will finally get to experience the sort of MMO gameplay they have been craving for years.

A New World of Action

The pace of battle in Sword of the New World is swift and exciting in both player vs. environment (PvE) and player vs. player (PvP) combat. Players will experience amazing adventures as they solo their team of characters in the wilderness, feud against individual rivals in family vs. family duels, group with other players in dungeons to defeat epic bosses, and unite with fellow clan members in massive city vs. city conflicts. This is Sword of the New World, and this is what MMOs should be.

A Killer Work of Art

Sword of the New World features a bold, original art direction inspired by the supremacy of Europe's Baroque period. Striking graphics make this title as thrilling to look at as it is to play, and the game's brilliant design allows it to run on a variety of systems. Handsome and beautiful character models, eerie and fantastic dungeons, breathtaking landscapes and magnificent cities all await players of this gorgeous game. Evocative music completes each unique area of the game world and makes Sword of the New World nothing less than a masterpiece of adventure.

Habitat Versus Evil (4gency)2016Earth is doomed. Everyone is in a mad dash to escape to the nearest safe haven, orbit. In orbit, people scavenge debris to build, maintain, and expand their space stations. Previously used earth satellites are there for the taking. Vacant spacecraft are there for the taking (previous owners are likely deceased). Debris from collisions are there for the taking. But not all who manage to make it to orbit and survive are willing to take only what they can find. To survive, they sometimes fight others for their finds. Which can lead to more debris. Also, you'll need a strategy to deal with debris colliding with your space station. Build as many individual habitats as you like or just one. Use rockets, lasers, particle accelerators, and other somewhat familiar technology. Everything can pretty much be used in some way for the moving, building, maintaining, and survival of your habitat, or for its defense, or for attacking others. Linuxlabelminimizesubject

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast  LucasArts (Raven Software)2002The game has an extra stage for the demo, that is kind of well made and replayable (outstanding in demo standards)***Este es uno de esos juegos que tratas de evaluar casi negativamente para intentar compensar el subidón de nostalgia.

9 de 10***2009-09-16 on Steam, by LucasArts (lang: eng, fre, ger, ita, spa)***In the tradition of the multi-award-winning Star Wars Jedi Knight : Dark Forces II, rebel agent Kyle Katarn returns in exhilarating first-person action.

Several years have passed since Kyle avenged his father's death and saved the Valley of the Jedi from Jerec and his band of Dark Jedi. Allowing his Force powers to languish for fear of falling to the Dark side, Kyle set aside his lightsaber, vowing never to use it again. But when a new and menacing threat to the galaxy emerges, Kyle knows he must reclaim his past in order to save his future.

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is being developed in partnership with Activision's critically acclaimed developer Raven Software. Players assume the role of Kyle as they employ a unique mix of weapons, Force powers and your lightsaber in both single- and multiplayer modes.

* Expanded and enhanced use of the lightsaber features a slew of attack and defense moves
* Tap into the powers of the Force including Jump, Push, Jedi Mind Tricks and more
* Employ combat or stealth, depending on the situation. When a fight is necessary, be at the ready with an arsenal of weapons: stun baton, Bryar blast pistol, blaster rifle to name but a few
* Explore breathtaking Star Wars locales--Cloud City, the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4, Nar Shaddaa, the smugglers' moon--plus some never-before-seen locations
* Multi-player options including, deathmatch, saber-only deathmatch, and team capture the flag
* Developed in conjunction with the critically acclaimed Raven Software using a modified Quake III Team Arena engine

Suspecting Activision functioned only as a distributor.***Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy allows players to immerse themselves in the class Star Wars universe as they take on the role of a student eager to learn the ways of the Force from Master Luke Skywalker. Players will interact with famous classic Star Wars locations and characters while facing the ultimate choice: fight for good and freedom in the light side or follow the path of power and evil to the dark side.

Players can create their own characters by defining various characterisitics, such as speices, gender, clothing and physical attributes allowing for a more personal experience before entering the academy to learn the powers - and dangers - of the force.

Construct your own lightsaber from handle to blade color. Utilize two if you prefer or try the ultimate dual-bladed lightsaber made famous by Darth Maul. Unique tiered level selection allows players to choose their adventure and the missions they take based on the skills they need to become the ultimate Jedi Knight.

Additional multiplayer modes add depth to the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight legacy. Players can partake in a variety of unique modes. New vehicles, weapons and Star Wars environments enhance your Star Wars experience.

Rising Storm  Tripwire Interactive (Tripwire Interactive;Rising Storm Team)2013Rising Storm is the next game in the award-winning Red Orchestra franchise. You know the great gameplay, innovative features and realistic audio and graphics of RO2 - Rising Storm will take this to the Pacific Theater, adding even more features, new levels, new weapons and new factions. The game will allow the player to fight across iconic locations from the famous island-hopping campaigns in the Pacific from 1942 to 1945, as the US Army and Marine Corps fight it out with the Imperial Japanese army and Special Naval Landing Forces. Players will experience beach assaults, jungle fighting, close quarters night fighting and more across Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and Saipan, among other iconic battles. The player is able to take the part of either side – American or Japanese – battling it out online in multiplayer on up to 64-player servers.

Rising Storm also introduces an entirely new type of gameplay to the franchise - asymmetrical warfare. The American’s have the apparent advantage in firepower with their fast firing semi-automatic rifles, fully automatic weapons, and devastating flamethrower. The Japanese balance this out with gameplay elements that model their raw courage, ferocity, and cunning use of equipment. Their knee mortars allow them to rain indirect fire down on their enemies from anywhere in the map. Grenades can be planted and turned into booby-traps for unwary GIs. The Japanese put very high store on close-quarter combat, with a bayonet on almost every weapon – even machine guns and SMGs. Their banzai charge suppresses the enemy making it difficult for them to return fire and gives them an opportunity to close in to use bayonets and katanas on their opponents.

Key Features

Large Scale Multiplayer Combat in The Pacific: Take part in the brutal fighting in the Pacific online with up to 64 players at a time.

Iconic Battles: Experience iconic battles such as Iwo Jima, Saipan, and Guadalcanal as the US military struggles to clear the Japanese from the islands in the Pacific.

Asymmetrical Gameplay: Far from the mirrored gameplay seen in other shooters, both sides utilize historical weapon sets and each have unique gameplay capabilities. American firepower is matched by Japanese ferocity and guile with such features as banzai charges, booby-traps, the infamous "knee mortar" and more. This creates a unique gameplay experience that can’t be found anywhere else.

WWII weaponry redefined – again: all of the weapon functionality you expect from the franchise returns - true to life ballistics, bullet penetration, breathing, adjustable sights, free aim, weapon bracing, and more, create WWII weaponry that has no equal. To that add over 20 new weapons including the devastating flamethrower and the portable "knee mortar".

Morale: Your soldier’s state of mind plays a bigger role than ever. Banzai charging Japanese soldiers can heavily suppress the Americans making it difficult to return fire and allowing the Japanese to close the distance. The Americans can use their firepower advantage to suppress their enemies and gain the advantage!

Bonus Content: All Red Orchestra 2 multiplayer content is included with Rising Storm as a free bonus. Fight in the Pacific, then fight on the Eastern Front at any time, all in the same game and same server browser. Find out what made Red Orchestra 2 PC Gamer’s Multiplayer FPS of the Year in 2011 with this award winning content.

Full Mod SDK and Steam Workshop Support: Download some of the amazing existing community made content for Red Orchestra 2, or try your hand with the mod SDK and make your own maps or mods for either Rising Storm or Red Orchestra 2.

Persistent Stats Tracking and Player Progression: Persistence constantly gives the gamer something to strive for and keeps them playing. Grow in rank, earn achievements, improve your abilities, and become a Hero!

Several years have passed since Kyle avenged his father's death and saved the Valley of the Jedi from Jerec and his band of Dark Jedi. Allowing his Force powers to languish for fear of falling to the dark side, Kyle entrusted his lightsaber to Luke Skywalker, vowing never to use it again. Super Quest  Softside1982[WIP]
MSRP: $3

This game is massive by any standards at 1024 total locations. That is 4 times larger than the overworld and dungeons of The Legend of Zelda. Everything is in real-time and offers no other respite than a few sparely place shops. Shops are also the only place games can be saved. Strength is the only stat. It is increased in small random increments only by drinking strength potions bought from shops. Currency does not come from killing monsters but only from rare chests dispersed throughout the labrynth. Killing monsters gains XP which mainly counts as a high score (since winning the game is unlikley). Most screens have monsters that will be there every time you arrive no matter if you have defeated them previously. There are also random monster encounters that happen everywhere except shops, there is no pause to escape them or leave time to make your own map.

Story:
In a future on Earth with too much magic and too much technology, a one-of-a-king technomagical artifact was created to keep balance between the two. Being more powerful than it was intended, it stifled all change for either. A powerful king decided to used technology to hide and negate the effects of the artifact. With the artifact sealed away in a labyrinth of traps and unnatural guard creatures magic began overwhelming technology. 200 years later, a hero is chosen to brave the labyrinth and recover the artifact.

Entering initials is explained in-game. Heroes are sponsored by nobles so when the hero is asked who their sponsor is, it's the player.
