EA Replay Electronic Arts (Electronic Arts Canada)2006This is a retro compilation of 14 games. They are all based on the Super Nintendo or Genesis versions although they differ slightly, mostly new features enhancements not available in the original (such as adding 2 player modes). There is unlockable content associated with each game. It is wildly assumed (but unconfirmed) that these are the slightly hacked originals running with emulation.

Ultima 4 for Exult -2002The project was registered in SF.net in 2002 yet there are no files, no sources, not even website and the project is listed as being in planning stage. Added way too early to UVL if there's actually any progress. The links definitely are wrong if there's progress.***A recreation of Ultima IV that uses the Exult game engine, making it avialable for many platforms.

Ultima VII Part Two: Serpent Isle  Origin1993Often refered to as Ultima VII, part 2: Serpent Isle. Comes with seven 3.5' disks and 5.25' disks. An extensive theatrical intro for this game was created but droped from the final game. Origin appearently lost the intro and the sourcecode for Serpent Isle so there will never be any other version than this MS-DOS one.***Still one of the best RPG's ever made IMO. Ultima VII: The Black Gate FCI;Pony Canyon (Origin)1994This is drastically simplified version of the [game=#32923]Black Gate[/game], leaving in only some action-adventure kind of game from the original adventure-RPG with nary a dialogue left. This was done due to the limitations of the platform which simply couldn't handle the amount of data in the original.

The game engine itself was rewritten entirely in assembly for the platform, and considering the things left out, it can't be considered the same as Ultima 7 engine. This rewritten engine was re-used in the SNES [game=#38033]Savage Empire[/game].***Tags:
The 7th canonical game in the Ultima series and the first game in Ultima's Age of Armageddon. The player and party can use crossbows and bows. Ingredients can be mixed to bake bread and other things. Cheese is available as food. A variety of items can be crafted into other items. There are pumpkin fields in the game, from which pumpkins can be harvested. Flight of the Bumblebee is played at one point, Rule Britannia is overplayed. Unicorns are mentioned in in-game books and by characters
one can be found by the player also.
. But due to the censorship of this game, the role unicorns it reduced. The game and story are so heavily censored that its practically unintelligible.

The character can move seamlessly from above ground to under ground, up or down stars, in and out of buildings, on and off of rooftops, in and out of ships, and take to the air and land. Various magical transportation occurs.
The 8th canonical game in the Ultima series and the first game in Ultima's Age of Armageddon. (Ultima Underworld is canonical, prequil of this game, and the 7th in the series). But, it was never intended to run on Linux. This, and other exult enhancements are sufficient to mark this game as uncanonical. Exult uses SDL for the Linux version with an OpenGL option. There are several prisoners in the game and this plays into the plot more than once. An addictive medicine in the game is abused by characters and can be abused by the player's character and party, with consequences. Unicorns are mentioned by in-game books and by characters
one can be found by the player also.
. And some coder with nothing better to do has given the engine dance mat compatibility.

Origin once again attempted to create a game engine as they had done before with Ultima IV and Ultima VI. Arthurian Legends was the game they would attempt to create using the U7 Engine. AL was not completed and the source code of the Ultima VII games was later lost.

A game engine called Exult allows the game to run on a wide variety of platforms
