Cyberstrip Poker Rapture Interactive1995Cyberstrip Poker is a futuristic, sci-fi themed strip poker game set in the distant future. Each player starts out with $1000, minimum bet is $5 and maximum bet is set as $100. Every time the opponent's cash reaches zero, she takes off one article of clothing, and the player is treated to a full-screen video.

The player is only allowed to discard three out of five cards in this game. There is no call button; the player has to pay attention anytime the opponent raises, and manually add the last bet and the raise amount. To fold, the player needs to reduce the bet amount to below $5 and "Fold" will appear as the amount of the bet. There is a hide/panic button (the atomic symbol looking button in the bottom right corner of the screen) which quickly launches a Macintosh-looking screen.

SimCopter Maxis1996Get over SimCity in action-packed helicopter missions. Soar through pre-built cities, or import your own SimCity 2000 cities and see them in hyper-realistic 3-D. There are fires to fight, shipwrecked Sims to save and traffic to un-jam. SimCity 2000 not required but maps can be imported from that game. Nerves of steel recommended.

Trivia:
Sometimes included in lists of censored games because of the himbo controversy. One of the programmers, Jacques Servin, designed a civilian model with runway lights for nipples that wore skimpy speedos. These characters would seek out each other in the game for makeout sessions. They would also appear in extreme large numbers on certain dates. All of this was intentionally done by Servin in protest of the severe working conditions the programmers had to endure. But, an unintended emergent behavior occurred with the himbo characters, they would sometimes mindlessly swarm the helicopter. This resulted in hundreds of sliced up civilians and the player would earn massive amounts of bonus points when emergency vehicles were dispatched to cleanup the mess. Maxis fired Servin and corrected the problem soon after the game's release. This is not considered censorship because Jacques Servin secretly added the content without consulting the other members of the team that had creative control of the project.

Gothic  Egmont Interactive;Xicat Interactive (Piranha Bytes)2001This nice German developed RPG adventure is set against the backdrop of a landscape savaged by war, the King of the human territories must find enough ore to forge weapons for his army to use in defence against the Orc Hordes. The King's mines are set in a large magical sphere and are worked by prisoners captured from across the kingdom. And it is into this sphere that you are thrown, charged with the task of delivering a letter – a letter that might just mark the turning point in the war against the Orcs. The Gothic world is constantly changing and evolving: events will occur that can alter the relationships between several groups of characters. NPCs are fully rounded with their own daily habits and relationships: they get up, work, go to bed, chat with each other and so on. More significantly, monsters cooperate with each other and are able to figure things out; they have individual perception. Some can be lured with food or noise, some will run away from bright light. Some can only hear or detect movement. Each character has the ability, with the correct training, to improve particular skills as the game progresses: training with the master of the sword, for example, will result in a character displaying noticeably more skilled swordsmanship. It is so much more satisfying to witness the effect of the skills you have learnt when they are visible in your character as oppose to a meaningless number rating, improving say, from 8 to 10. These 'optical' improvements are for the whole range of skills included in Gothic. The two different classes of magic (which are absolutely independent from each other) work along the same lines.***

Gothic 2  JoWood Productions (Piranha Bytes)2002You have torn down the magical barrier and released the prisoners of the Mine Valley. Now the former criminals of the forests and mountains are causing trouble around the capital of Khorinis. The town militia is powerless due to their low amount of force–outside of the town, everyone is helpless against the attacks of the bandits.***Re-released together with the Night of the Raven expansion on 2005-11-29 as Gothic 2 Gold Edition. labelimagesubject
Gothic 2: The Night of the Raven  JoWooD Productions (Piranha Bytes)2003"When you're in need of something and don't know where to find it, go to Khorinis. There you can surely buy it." -- Saying (author unknown) The mine valley of Khorinis. The glorious days of the once productive mines in this small seaside region were long over. Surrounded by the impenetrable magical barrier, the slaves eked out their miserable existence in this apparently natural prison.
One brave man managed to burst the bonds of imprisonment. Following his own call to freedom, he ventured deep into the subterranean temples. Willing to do whatever was necessary, he went out to banish Evil and destroy the magical barrier forever. Spurred by the hatred of men long-suppressed, the prisoners streamed trough the only pass to freedom.
No one in Khorinis had been prepared for this. Too long had they lived under the deceptive notion of security granted by the apparently indestructible magical dome. The small militia garrison could not put up enough forces against the onrush. After numerous bloody clashes, many captives escaped and found safety in the woods or rugged mountains of the surrounding countryside.
The steadily escalating number of raids in the vicinity of the town wall and the bandits' ever-increasing boldness seemed to paralyze the whole town. Angered by the militia's inability to protect their farms, some of the farmers formed an alliance with the refugees, no longer willing to pay allegiance to the king.
Khorinis is facing an uncertain future. Due to the farmers' decreasing production, more and more of the food deliveries do not take place, and the stocks diminish continuously. The militia's might ends at the town gate. Outside the town wall, nobody is safe from the bandits' armed raids. There is war in Khorinis. A civil war.
But there is something else that could not be foreseen. Evil is not dead, rearing its ugly head again. But this time it is set on delivering the deathblow to humanity, and no one can stop it.
No one?***Adds one more area to the game as well as re-balances the gameplay otherwise. Pretty much like a huge patch.***English version was released as part of the Gothic 2 Gold combined re-release (2005-11-29), never sold in English separately.

Players saved their home island Khorinis from the forces of evil in [[gameid:47040 Gothic]] and [[gameid:102172 Gothic 2]]. Now it is time to travel to the realms of the mainland, where invading Orcs have enslaved the human kingdom. There are only a few free humans living in the nearly uninhabitable icy northlands of Nordmar and in the southern desert of Varrant, and a handful of rebels hiding in the mountainous forests of the Middle Realm. Players can choose to join the rebellion and stay true to the deposed human king, serve the Orcish usurpers in their quest to topple the last remaining human stronghold, or choose a path that serves their own ends. Every decision made will have an impact on the game world and tip the balance of power. There is no simple linear story in Gothic 3 - every game will be different and unique, with the player ultimately deciding the fate of humankind.

Conquest of Elysium III  Illwinter Game Design2012Conquest of Elysium 3 is an old school turn based fantasy strategy game. You start by choosing one of 17 different characters, e.g. Necromancer, Demonologist, Dwarf Queen, Troll King or maybe a High Priestess of Ba'al. The different character classes vary wildly in what special abilities they have and what parts of the world they should focus on conquering. E.g. the Demonologist needs sacrifices that you gain from towns and villages, but the Druid want special herbs that are found in forests. But of course gold is always good to have, so all classes can make use of a gold or silver mine, but only the Enchanter can make a Gold Golem out of it.

The Witch can use fungus to summon a Catoblepas whose gaze can annihilate an entire row of enemies per turn. The Demonologist can summon powerful demon lords, but only if he is reckless because the likelihood of a demon lord attacking his summoner is quite high. Careful Demonologists make use of the lesser summoning that are also powerful when compared to mortal men. The Warlock can summon an immortal Phoenix. The Phoenix explodes when it dies and then swiftly reforms in the home citadel of its owner. In short the main thing about this game is the amount of features and special abilities that can be used.

Here is a list of some features that are available in CoE 3.
* Many monsters and many special abilities. Some examples right below.
* Assassins that make an assassination attack before combat starts.
* Catapults, Hill Giants and Rocs that can throw or drop boulders during sieges.
* Immortal Liches and Vampires.
* Regenerating trolls rise from the dead if they haven't been killed too badly or their side lost.
* Large worms that can swallow smaller enemies whole. Swallowed units take a few points of damage from digestion each round until they are freed.
* And many many more monsters....
* New weapon system, attacks are divided into pierce, slash or blunt damage (magic attacks have other types too). Skeletons are difficult to injure with piercing weapons and you should preferably use slashing weapons against treemen, etc.
* Hotseat and network support for multiplayer games.
* Team play, you can be 2 players against the AI for example.
* Random maps.
* 17 different classes to choose from. And they are quite different from each other, both in what resources they need and what kind of rituals or special abilities they have.
* Spell system with currently 42 magic paths.
* Magic items.
* Permanent battle afflictions.
* Horrors.
* Stealth and invisibility. Scouts needed to detect stealthy troops, something better (a star spawn or a beast bat will work) needed to detect the invisible ones.
* Shape changers that looks like something else when seen by the enemies.

Risen 3: Titan Lords pulls the player in to a hand-crafted role-playing world full of rugged charm where every decision changes the course of the story. Risen 3: Titan Lords is set for release in August 2014 for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system as well as Windows PC.
