This is NOT about gods of another faith just because they're of that other faith, this is about them being identified as non-gods (regular people, objects, etc.) no different from anyone else. Such as a priesthood feigning an existence of a god via illusions and deceptions. This can be a bit muddled depending on the mythos, as mortal gods and similar closer to mundane gods do exist even in real world mythologies.
