There's a minor inconsistency but not entirely unexplainable in the game's intro, that the 26LY distance at 29% of speed of light takes in fact 89 years (26/0.29), not 102 (2037 to 2139). But the extra 3 years could've been spent on other thing that just traveling that were not mentioned.
