Personal review

This bit of software is often grouped with 'dungeon master aids' that dungeon masters use to setup pen and paper games. This software is not that. Rather, this software is for playing pen and paper games (making it an augmented reality game). All the math, rolls, lists, charts, things that occupy left half of most brains during gameplay, are handled with a few keystrokes. This allows the dungeon master to spend more thought on right-braining the game. The dungeon master can introduce creative elements or allow players to be creative with much less concern on how these unplanned additions effect the analytics. For instance a dungeon master can decide to add an NPC, or even a new player and character, to join the fray mid-battle, no stopping to make a character sheet; and with Dragon Fire, make sure this new character is balanced to the situation.

Dragon Fire is 'compatible' with a wide array of pen and paper games.
