Description

A creative fighting game that is the first in the Hiryu no Ken series (Flying Dragon to the U.S.). Attack the enemy by targeting specific, circled points on his body and defend in the same way. Shanghai Kid also features what may be considered the first "Super" move: build up the KO meter at the top of the screen, and your character can perform a flying spin kick that does more damage than a normal attack. The game also has a "RUSH" mode: when the RUSH icon flashes on-screen, your character can hit the opponent with a string of attacks to any parts of the opponent's body (similar, in a way, to Street Fighter Alpha's Custom Combo attacks).
