Alan Wake's American Nightmare Remedy Entertainment2012Enfocándose más en la acción que el título original, y con una ambientación más Pulp que Thriller, aunque narrativamente sea algo más pobre es mucho más entretenido y jugable que la primera entrega.

Archon:Classic  React! Games2010The game's title is correctly written without space as "Archon:Classic", or it's an extremely common typo for the authors.***Inspired by chess, but adding combat that YOU control, Archon was the original Battle Chess. On the chessboard, when you challenge a piece, you are teleported into a Combat Arena where they fight in REAL-TIME until only the victor emerges to claim the square back on the checkered board. You must try to outmaneuver your opponent using teams of fantasy creatures or monsters in this epic struggle of Light and Dark. Conquer your opponent by defeating all of their pieces on the chess board or claim all the Power Squares for a quick victory! You can play Free-For-All mode, where it's everyone for themselves, or play using teams and gang up on your opponents pieces in battle (2 vs. 1.)

Archon:Classic can be played using USB controllers (the best way) or with keyboard and mouse. First developed in 1983, Archon quickly became a hit and instant classic because of it's unique combination of gameplay. We've recreated it to play just like the original, but we've added enhancements for today's gamer. So grab some friends and experience the classic game that started the Action/Strategy genre. It features:

* Up to 4 Player support...pure mayhem in battle!
* Play in "Free-for-All" or "Teams" mode
* USB controller support
* Optimized to run on netbooks
* 3 Different Boards (Modes) to play
* 4 AI settings
* Various spells to use
* 18 pieces per team, plus others you can summon
* Pieces gain experience and level up
* Primary and Secondary abilities
* Choose modern or classic icons
* Fully Featured 1 Player Campaign called, "Conquest"
* Conquest features 4 campaigns (over 60 quests)

Uses the AD&D ruleset. is set in Forgotten realms where Baldur's Gate is a location. This game begins the Baldur's Gate series. Players can create and name Human, Elf, Dwarf, Half-Elf, Halfling, and Gnome characters of either gender of the Fighter, Mage, Thief, Cleric, Ranger, Druid, or Paladin classes. Some classes can engage in sorcery according to the AD&D ruleset. Players can also dual-class or multi-class according the AD&D ruleset. In a 1-player game, the player controls an entire party, in multiplayer games, each player can control one or more characters (or none at all). Players must cooperate, there is no competitive options in the game. There are multiple ways for a character to summon underlings for temporary help. Characters must sleep or suffer the effects of fatigued. Characters can also become poisoned, confused,charmed, enfeebled, paralyzed, turned to stone, encumbered, impaired, or drunk if the character does avoid situations that lead to such effects. The detail of the fantasy world this game takes place in seems to qualify it as belonging to the high fantasy genre. Characters can use bows, crossbows, slings, knives, swords, axes, bludgeons, pole arms, whips, or fight unarmed (non-lethal). A vast number of items can be aquired from stashes in the world, on defeated foes, or purchased from shops or individuals. The AI of the player's characters can be programmed in a scriptable language. But this is highly optional as adequate AIs are provided or the player can pause constantly to direct everybody with point-n-click commands; then unpause for as long as those commands are helpfully being executed. (Documentation for Scripting can be found on the 1st CD. Users have created AIs that can be found online and loaded into an existing game). Many NPC can be joined to the party and left to retrieve later. Some will leave if they are unhappy with the main characters actions. Evil people prefer the main character to do evil, good characters prefer good. Some NPC have their on purposes for joining and will stay of leave depending on the changing conditions matching their goals or not. The experience system follows the AD&D ruleset. This includes XP awarded for defeating enemies and for completing quests (which are documented on-the-fly in an automated journal that also records some plot information). The XP required to level up are preset according the the AD&D ruleset. When leveling up (at the players initiation, once the require XP are collected), skill points are awarded that can be distributed to a subset of skills available to the character's class (not all AD&D skills are included in this game). Several small village/towns can be visited and Baldur's Gate is a massive 10+ levels (not counting interiors that include multistory buildings) of civilization that approaches the definition of a city. Several large keeps make up whole levels (again not counting interiors that include multistory buildings). Several tall towers can be explored. Many multilevel mines and dungeons can or must be explored. Developers comments can be read on some tombstones a cemetery.
Bauldur's Gate has a sewer system as a location.
. Books, scrolls, and documents in the game offer extraneous details about the Forgotten Realms and Bauldur's Gate area, plot background, plot information, and character advancement training (rare). This game is available in a 5 CD set (original), 3 CD set, or on a single DVD to save on disc swapping. The game can be configured to run from the various CD or have them installed to hard drive per CD. But, upon running the game will require CD 1 to be in the drive for copy egest.
The plot shares some similarities to events in the Book of The Watchers (from the Book of Enoch, an apocryphal Jewish writing). In Baldur's Gate, an unearthly being came to the earthly realm and copulated with mortal females. The children of these unions have unusual and advanced traits and eventual fight with and kill each other. Dragonsphere MicroProse1994After the disappointing Return of the Phantom, Matt Gruson outdid himself with this game, incidentally the very last he'd have produced for MicroProse. The game casts you as a king of a faraway kingdom who must journey across the lands to prevent the evil dragon from breaking out from a magical prison. Very good puzzles and plot that is full of surprising twists. It's a graphic adventure in the classic third-person Lucasarts and Sierra style. Dragonsphere has text throughout and the CD version also has voices for the characters.***

The original Core-Team revamped their own creation, leveraging the best of today’s technology while remaining true to the classic side-scroller that set the standards of the genre in the 90’s.

Features:
• One of the best adventure-action games ever created re-imagined by its creators
It’s the same team. It’s the same passion. Only this time, they have had much more firepower at their disposal to recreate the legendary classic!
• Gorgeous graphics, amazing animations
It’s the Flashback you’ve always dreamed of. True to the original spirit but made a million times better by using modern engines such as Unreal and Havok. The makeover is completely stunning.
• It’s all about Gameplay
The team modernized gameplay mechanics, making the game more reactive, offering new features, like gadgets and an experience progression system. But the developers kept the original formula in mind: a fine balance between rolling and shooting, exploring remote space stations and obliterating hostile alien planets.
• Bringing back new memories
The story was revamped to speak to 21st century gamers. Most of the cast of the original game is still here – Conrad, the Morphs – but you can expect new characters and a few twists you’re definitely not going to forget... this time.

Monster Bash  Apogee Software1993No Apogee game has ever had as many gruesome graphics as Monster Bash, with over EIGHT MEGS of animated/scrolling EGA graphics in all three episodes.

Johnny Dash's bash 'em smash 'em adventure takes him into the evil Under World of Count Chuck. The story starts when Johnny's dog Tex is kidnapped by the Count, along with hundreds of other pet dogs and cats. The friendly bed monster under Johnny's bed tells Johnny where Tex was taken, and how Johnny can use his secret closet passageway to get to the Under World himself. Count Chuck plans to turn all the pets into an army of undead monsters. Johnny grabs his slingshot and leaps into his closet. The Count will not turn his dog Tex into a monster, not if he can stop him...!

Monster Bash is full of scary action and haunting puzzles. No previous Apogee game (to this point) has featured so much ANIMATION. For instance, Johnny can climb, crawl, shoot his slingshot in several directions, fly a broom, and a lot more. And Johnny's super charged slingshot can shoot rocks, rockets, fireballs, and other surprises. There also more enemy creatures and monsters than ever seen in an Apogee game.

BRIEF FEATURES LIST

* Over 8 Megs compressed animated and scrolling EGA graphics.
* Over two dozen uniquely animated monsters to battle.
* Boss monsters that seem invincible, but have a secret weakness.
* Ad Lib music soundtrack.
* Digitized sound effects and voice effects for Sound Blaster.
* Opening and closing animated/cinematic sequences.
* Joystick supported.
* Three skill levels, save/restore up to 10 games, plus built in hints.

Ōkami  Capcom (Clover Studio;Ready at Dawn)2008Although some games feel like they were crafted in a paint-by-numbers style, Ōkami paints in a style all its own – and uses the Wii Remote as its brush.***

Ōkami  Capcom (Clover Studio)2006retelling — Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, Susanoo slaying Orochi, and likely others. Pile of leaves : Galestorm power
Ice : Inferno power
Huge flags : Galestorm power
Guardian Statues : vases made by the woodcutter in Shinshu
Cat statues : Catwalk power
Note: the game effectively pauses when drawing, and the only limit you have then is how large your ink pot (magic pool) is. Ink is restored quite fast when not drawing, so there's very little reason to upgrade it (unless some later puzzles require more). Of course, being brush heavy in the fighting will make you want to upgrade it. This is also works great for defending yourself when you otherwise feel like you can't (grow trees between the attackers and you, slash at the enemies or the stuff they throw at you, etc.)

Feeding animals gives 1-5 points of praise/adoration (xp) per animal, though single feeding affects the whole herd, flock, or whatever.***Other languages are only present on the game box and manual (in-game voices/text still in English), at least in European releases.

The Japanese title 大神 actually reads "great deity" rather than "wolf", but the pronunciation (and transliteration) is the same as with 狼 which stands for "wolf". So, in effect, it's a pun for "great wolf deity".***In Okami, the player takes the role of the mythical sun goddess Amaterasu, in the form of a wolf. Her task is to restore color (or 'life') to the world by destroying the monsters who have stolen it. Since Amaterasu is a deity, there are naturally people who worship her and people who don't. The more people who worship her (as a result of her restoring color and doing other good deeds for them), the more powerful she becomes.***In Ōkami, the legendary monster Orochi has come back to life and turned the world into a wasteland. To restore the earth's natural order and beauty, players assume the role of wolf-embodied sun god Amaterasu and participate in numerous action packed battles against the ominous beings they encounter. However, conquering these impending enemies is no small feat. Amaterasu will travel through different regions of the world to regain her 'Celestial Brush' powers, all the while revitalizing everything in her path. Using an innovative control scheme, gamers can slash away at enemies, use various brush strokes to solve puzzles, create pathways, chop down trees or turn night into day. The real-time fighting system not only involves assorted brush techniques, but also myriad of specials attacks typically not associated with the physical prowess of a normal wolf.

Featuring a visually stunning art style, Ōkami comes alive through beautiful scenic 3D levels that have the appearance and texture of paper scrolls brushed with watercolor-like calligraphy art. Throughout the vibrant and distinctive surroundings, players must also interact with a dynamic cast of characters, building their faith to uncover clues and hints. The blend of stylized graphics and unique gameplay will result in a rich and dynamic experience never seen before.***great art style

Saya no Uta  Nitro+2003Fuminori Sakisaka is a young medical student, whose life is changed when he gets in a traffic accident which kills his parents and leaves him heavily injured. Fuminori undergoes experimental brain surgery to save his life, but the surgery has an unintended side-effect - it creates a form of agnosia, causing his senses to become "warped". He perceives the world as a hellish nightmare with a black sky and buildings covered in pulsating flesh, where all the streets and building interiors are splattered with blood, giant organs and cartilage. Ordinary people appear to him as grotesque, giant grub-like monsters with a hideous stench, and even food that he used to like now tastes utterly disgusting.

As he contemplates suicide in the hospital, Fuminori meets a beautiful, human looking girl among the flesh-covered walls. She introduces herself as Saya, and is apparently looking for her father. Fuminori does not want to be separated from Saya, and asks her to live with him. She agrees.
