I'm here to give my comments on old a game classic called GALIVAN COSMO POLICE, developed by Japanese game developers Nichibutsu in 1985. Personally for me it was a very exciting and adventurous game, combined with the elements of hand to hand combat, weaponary and comedy, although the stages would be repeated, it would be come challenging at times an excellent game in it's era. I was so addicted to this game that i would practically stand for hours, bout 13 or so and just continually go hard at it, so ho old was i when playing this game 13 to 14 years of age. I wish i could have this game again, i'm not so sure if i can play it on PC, or probably have to play on the old coin op arcade machines. Hey if anyone knows how i can obtain a copy of this game classic, please send me information and your thoughts about this favorite classic of mine, it would be much appreciated THANK YOU. Double Dragon	Taito (Technos)	1987	Take on the roles of Billy Lee (blonde hair) and/or Jimmy Lee (brown hair) as you punch, spin kick, and headbutt your way through numerous levels of bad guys in search of your kidnapped girlfriend! Cliched plot, but excellent game - this was way ahead of the competition at the time, and for many is unsurpassed in terms of its look-and-feel. In other words, you could really feel those punches hit! Many excellent touches make this a classic arcade game: fighting your partner at the end to see who gets the girl, the green Abobo halfway through, multiple enemies soaring through the air as you unleash your mighty baseball bat, and of course, the catchy title music.

Game ends when clearing the 6th pattern * Energy is lost when coming into contact with enemies and other obstacles. * All energy is lost if you fall into the water or fire, or, hit by the suspended ceiling, or stabbed with ground spears. * Games ends when all lives are lost. Collect power up items by stabbing them with your sword. Wonder Boy in Monster Land	Sega (Westone)	1987	Eleven years have gone by since Tom-Tom rescued his girlfriend Tanya from the clutches of the evil King. Word of Tom-Tom's dangerous adventure soon spread throughout Wonder Land. The people were very proud of him and gave Tom-Tom the highest honor of all - the legendary name of Wonder Boy. With the evil King defeated, Wonder Land returned to its peaceful state, and for over one decade, the kingdom was a paradise, and everything and everyone lived happily together. Eventually, the peace was broken when a ferocious fire-breathing dragon appeared out of nowhere and took over Wonder Land with an army of evil, monsterous henchmen, causing Wonder Land was immediately thrown into utter chaos. Defenseless that they were, the people were quickly taken over and the tranquil and serene kingdom was transformed into a land of demons and devils. Wonder Land was now a Monster Land. Tom-Tom was summoned to set out on a journey, destroy this dragon, and restore peace once again. Tom-Tom is Wonder Land's last hope. There are twelve locations in which Tom-Tom must venture through, including (but not limited to): the city of Wonder Land, Valley of Peace, The Coastal Town of Baraboro, The Mam Desert, and Pororo Islands. During his journey, he must defeat monsters with the sword that he got at the beginning of his adventure. These monsters will leave either gold coins or bags of cash, which he can use to buy better weapons, shields, armors, and boots. At the end of each location, there is usually a boss that Tom-Tom must defeat in order to obtain a gold key that will unlock the exit gate, as well as plenty of gold coins or bags of cash. If he touches any enemies, or is shot at, he will lose health. During his travels, Tom-Tom must take note of the hourglass; if the hourglass display sands at the bottom, he must get another one that appears out of nowhere, or he'll also lose health. There are two ways in which he can restore it. He can either go into bars to have a drink that will restore it and get a hint about what lies ahead as well, or go into hospitals and heal himself to restore the lost health.

Splatterhouse	Namco;Tecmo;Sharp	1988	[49]* [69]*Splatterhouse is a straightforward side-scroller with the premise being that you (Rick, I think your name is) have been possessed by the spirit of an ancient (Mayan, maybe?) mask that will give you the strength to defeat various forces of darkness and rescue your (of course helpless) female counterpart from the "Splatterhouse." What makes this game interesting is the fantastic quality of ambience it manages to create, with excellent sound and graphics creating a truly scary arcade game. Only Uninvited and Silent Hill match Splatterhouse for creepiness. It also has some choice of paths to take, which adds replayability. A fun game with inventive enemies and ways to splatter them.

Sega produced a billboard style marquee that prominently featured the word "Hologram". It could be placed above the unit, or not. The title of the game itself was placed on top of the unit between the stereo speakers and was less noticeable than the billboard. Thus, pictures of the unit with the optional billboard tend to suggest the game was actually titled "Hologram" while units without it were appropriately thought to be titled "Time Traveler" but mistaken for a different game than the supposed "Hologram" Part of the Hologram series (along with [game=#41697]Holosseum[/game]).

(From the game flyer) Attractive and realistic magic & graphics made possible through the utilization of the SEGA SYSTEM 32. Due to various highlight scenes, and different course junction points depending on the stage, the player can experience a different excitement each time. Colorful game actions, such as picking up and using an item, opening the doors, kindling a torch, opening a box, etc., are provided in abundance. Well that pretty much sums up this game, the greatest of all beat-'em-ups Trivia from Mame.dk Golden Axe page 'The kanji [Japanese character] on the title screen actually reads 'Senpu', meaning 'Fighting Axe'. Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom	Capcom	1993	[media=youtube]https://youtu.be/8LmHnGpXHCY[/media]*A beat'em up with many layers of complexity, very engaging in multiplayer mode (with a great focus on classes' synergy) 8 de 10*Based on AD&D rules this game worked on the same principal as Streets of Rage only much more advanced. There were four characters (elf,cleric,dwarf,fighter) and a maximum of four players at once though these machines were rare. Each level had a nasty boss and the ultimate aim was to kill the evil Lich king. Characters could carry many items at a time including daggers,burning oil, magical items, rings and spell scrolls. Every character had several alternate weapons and could pick up and wear different equipment to reduce damage taken, jump higher, hit harder ect. There were shops every few levels where items could be bought and sold. Most monsters killed dropped either gold or items. As the game progressed characters went up levels and gained more spells (elf and cleric) or better weapons (fighter and dwarf). Control consisted of one eight way stick and 4 buttons (attack, jump, use and select) per player, so there was much fighting for elbow room. Pressing start while playing showed what equipment you were currently wearing. - Matt(v) -
