Editor note

Suppose the 1st world war was not begun in 1914 but 1901 instead. This is the premise of this computerized board game. With war and diplomacy both offered to up to six players. It is also not inconceivable that there will be no war. Neither peace nor hostility is determined directly by the players. Rather, tenancy for peace nor hostility is the result of the actions each player takes that are then interpreted by the game's rules what the effect will be. The game is open-ended if hostility doesn't win out, But the designers apparently expect that war is inevitable; the rules certainly favor it.
