The player is in a role of a gunner/shooter of a ship escaping an alien invasion in order to warn the rest of humanity of the incoming attack. It’s basically a rail shooter, so the player does not control the ship only defends it.

There are 2 gun groups attached to the ship: upper and lower. As the player drags the mouse the cannon groups are switched to cover all the space around the ship. Each level has it’s story, but basically you need to take down all/most of the targets that are attacking and thus to survive.

The levels last for 10 minutes each and are finished once the player reaches that time point – and is alive. The last level lasts a bit longer (15 minutes). The game contains 6 levels.

After the level completion there is a shop with various utilities and armaments. Eg. better guns, shields, time-warp (slowdown), gun enhancements etc. Money(crystals) is gained by destroying alien ships – the better shooter you are more crystals for use in the shop.

Are you up to the challenge space warrior?

Game Features:
* Fastest and most intense 3d space shooter game you have ever seen – feel free to compare it to other games!
* The ship is driven by the pilot, and you defend with 2 turrets (upper and lower) covering all the space around the vessel (this is a 3d "rail" shooter game)
* Unique feel of intense battle and adrenalin pumping trough your veins
* 6 blood pounding missions with great heavy metal tracks while shooting down the invading force, with an option of muting the music if you rather prefer silence or playing some custom tunes on your favorite player in the background
* Hours and hours of fun play before you successfully survive the last world and inform humanity about the Acronians – rewarded by a neat animation at the end
* Over one hour of constant action needed to finish the game (if you survive all the levels in a row, that is...)
* 4 levels of difficulty (Rookie, Normal, Ace and Abnormal)
* Incredible environments and planets (you can’t land, that’s a decoration only, but very detailed I should add). Indie or casual games ususally do not have that.
* Flexible graphics settings to meet your hardware – indie or casual games usually do not have this – you can check the features and minimal/recommended specifications here
* 3d explosions with debris falling of everything you shoot at, plus beautiful particle effects
* Shop available at the end of each level: weapon, add-ons, shields, utilities, repair-bots... everything to make you happy.
* Intro and game complete cut-scenes
* Listen to in game chat of pilot, gunner and the ship’s AI to find out what happened meanwhile...

Bloody Good Time Ubisoft (Outerlight)2010For 1-8 players.***Congratulations, you’ve just been cast in your first slasher movie! You’ve been given your big break by the notorious Director X. His methods have produced some of the finest grindhouse films ever committed to celluloid. Famous faces and big names are not what this director is looking for. Fresh faces are all Director X casts, and with your embarrassingly empty resume you’re as fresh as they come!

But seven other hopefuls are also in the running, so you’re going to need to prove your worth if you’re to hit the leading credits. You’re going to have to scratch, claw and strike to slash your way to the top. This job’s going to be murder!

Developed by Outerlight, Bloody Good Time takes a new and irreverent approach to multiplayer shooters. The game runs on the Valve’s Source engine, known for classic multiplayer shooters such as Half-Life and Team Fortress.

Key Features:
* Be a deceitful bastard! Flush your enemies in the toilet, crash their heads on their plates when they eat, do whatever it takes to maim and kill other competitors in nasty and unexpected ways!
* Use a full arsenal of wacky weapons including guns, a baseball bat, a frying pan, and even an exploding remote-controlled rat to transform the movie set into real mayhem!
* Clash with up to 8 players online in a zany, first-person shooter, multiplayer experience like no other.
* Choose from a variety of stereotypical B- movie characters, including the bikini beach babe, the stoner, the creepy clown and the super jock.
* From Spring Break Beach to the Horror House to the Vegas Hotel, discover what’s behind the Hollywood set in these unique multiplayer maps.
* Developed by Outerlight, best known for their work on The Ship and the Half-Life mod of the Ship. This Scottish-based developer brings a great combination of humor and quality game play to Bloody Good Time.
* Running on the Valve’s Source engine, Bloody Good Time comes from the same pedigree of classic, online multiplayer shooters such as Half-Life, Team Fortress and Counter-Strike.

This standalone game features two unique armies with full length campaigns. Players will experience fast-paced dynamic tactics like never before, in two of the most brutal World War II campaigns ever fought. Take command of the tenacious British 2nd Army in the vicious battle for Caen, France, or lead the German Panzer Elite as they struggle to repel the largest airborne invasion in history.

With two intensely cinematic campaigns, mission persistence, improved vehicle AI and weather effects that directly impact the battlefield, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts supports DirectX 10 and is fully compatible with the original Company of Heroes. Battle online with these two all-new armies and utilize full compatibility with the original Company of Heroes for a total of four playable armies - allowing players to wage the ultimate war for Fortress Europe.
FeaturesFeatures

* Bigger – Play as the British or Germans in two intensely cinematic campaigns.
* Better looking – DX10 support and significant upgrades to the Essence Engine.
* Smarter – Improved vehicle AI and path-finding.
* More Realistic – All new weather effects directly impact the battlefield.
[Relic]***Introduces two new armies, the British 2nd and the German Panzer Elite, both with their own all new campaigns, too.

British are slow-moving and highly defensive army and apparently has movable base unlike all the other armies, as well as tank airdrop and many other interesting and unique abilities.

Panzer Elite on the other hand is a low number force of, you know, elite forces who're more suited for rushing the enemy in Blitzkrieg tactics and specializes on vehicular combat more than any other army.

Apparently You won't need to have Opposing Fronts to play against their armies after a new patch is rolled out for the original game, although you won't be able to play _as_ either of the new armies if you don't get the expansion, nor likely are you able to play the two old armies if you don't have the original, but you can still play against those who either have only the expansion or only the original even if you only have the other.

Dark Horizon  Akella;Paradox Interactive (Quazar Studio)2008The game ''Dark Horizon'' takes the player to the very beginning of the Second Era of Enosta Universe, about a century before the disappearance of the legendary cruiser ''Talestra''.

This chronicle begins on a date which became a judgment day for many races of the Galaxy, when a new form of Mirk came into existence, later to be called ''De'Khete''. The player takes part in these events as a member of the race of Guardians. Once human, now transformed by the Mirk, the Guardians created their own world and found the strength to confront the incoming menace.

''Dark Horizons'' is a look at the past of the world through the eyes of those who are currently the spawns of the Mirk, and who's victories could give hope to many. During the missions, the player will have to go through a long and exhausting defense of the place that became the second home to the Guardians, fighting alongside the people transformed by the Mirk, who's powers lay beyond human comprehension.

This is a story about the warriors of Vattar Ama'Dan fortress, called to defend the construction of the ''Light Core'', which would save billions of lives later on. Their heroism is immortalized in the Tarr Chronicles, the dark annals of the dying galaxy of Enosta.

Features

* A hybrid technology of two races, the Guardians and Bioses, is an example of cooperation against a common threat. More powerful ships of unusual construction, more powerful weapons.
* Shadow mode allows you to become invisible to your enemies for a short period of time, while Corter mode significantly improves the power of your weapons. Only a skilful combination of these two modes will allow the player to complete the game.

[Ascaron]***"Darkstar One" is a game that is primarily story-based and therefore pre-defined; however, "Darkstar One" also offers a fantastic amount of freedom of choice for the players.

The story-based missions gradually lead the player deeper into the galaxy to new races, new technologies and ever stronger opponents. More and more solar systems will become available and may be visited. The artifacts of an ancient race, which are hidden in these solar systems, are essential to upgrade the player ship - the Darkstar One.

Additionally, our hero urgently requires credits in order to purchase better equipment such as weapons and shields. This is where the freedom of choice is applied as the player will be able to earn credits in many different ways: assignments, bounty hunting, piracy, smuggling, trading, escorting, transport, rewards ...

Key Features
* Elaborate story, related by more than fifty minutes of video sequences
* Upgradeable space ship "Darkstar One": The player decides which type of spacecraft he prefers - a fast attack ship with many light weapons or a near-invincible cruiser with heavy weaponry
* Over two hundred different weapons, shields and equipment items
* Rockets, torpedoes and mines feature special tactical uses: mines can tactically fire at opponents or distract approaching missiles
* The "Spell Weapon": the player will have a special weapon at his disposal that will have an area of effect similar to certain spells in role-playing games. This weapon will become increasingly versatile throughout the game and it will increase the tactical potential considerably.
* A vast, simulated universe with numerous, completely different races, space ships and battle tactics.
* Each race features distinctive weapon types with different functions that require different battle tactics. The player will be able to acquire these weapons in order to mount them on the "Darkstar One".
* Special missions, for example in canyons, on the surface of planets or inside of planets
* Freedom of choice: the player may earn his credits in many ways, i.e. fighting, piracy, assignments, smuggling, trading, escorting, transporting, rewards ...
* Follow your own path, be it "good" or "bad", and take advantage of political disputes.
* Compatible with mouse, joystick and gamepad.
[Ascaron]***health warning — you start hearing a warning sound. when viewing the game from the cockpit you see the red warning light flashing on the 3D HUD and even being reflected on the canopy (though lack of the protagonist's reflection is a bit strange at these times.
monster generators — cruisers spew forth an infinite number of fighters, so you can't kill their supports first and then the cruiser, you need to destroy the cruiser first or you have an endless and fruitless battle at your hands.***Belongs to the same family of spaceflight games as Elite, Freelancer and X. The basic controls are similar to Freelancer, which means the game plays great with mouse and keyboard alone with no need for joystick.

The game's story is odd as it states that the DarkStar One is an organic ship, but it is one of the most mechanical looking ones out there (with very out-of-place camo paintjob).***2008-02-14 on Steam, by Strategy First (lang: eng)***Reminded me of [[game:Wing Commander]], [[game:Tie Fighter]], etc. from the good old days, so I thought I'd pick it up. The game sounded pretty interesting, but I couldn't really play it for more than five minutes without encountering some major graphical errors or just outright crashes. Funny thing is, when the game crashes, it gives you an error report in German--how helpful!

Pros:
-El detalle en la ambientación, el paisaje y la música roza la perfección.

Empire: Total War Sega (The Creative Assembly)2009Empire: Total War - Special Forces Edition has 6 additional military units for the player's use. Other than that, it's identical to the normal release.***2009-02-20 Demo release
2009-03-03 Released via Steam (download)
2009-03-04 Boxed release (2x DVD)***Command the seas, control the land, forge a new nation, and conquer the globe. Empire: Total War takes the Total War franchise to the eighteenth century Age of Enlightenment -- a time of political upheaval, military advancements, and radical thought, captured in stunning detail in Empire: Total War.

Empire: Total War introduces a host of revolutionary new features, including true 3D naval combat. For the first time in the Total War series, you will be able to intuitively command single ships or vast fleets upon seascapes rich with extraordinary water and weather effects that play a huge role in your eventual glorious success or ignominious defeat. After pummelling your enemy with cannon fire, close in to grapple their ship and prepare to board, taking control of your men as they fight hand-to-hand on the decks of these wooden behemoths.

In addition, Empire: Total War will see further enhancements to the Total War series' signature 3D battles and turn-based campaign map. Real-time battles will pose new challenges with the addition of cannon and musket, challenging players to master new formations and tactics as a result of the increasing role of gunpowder within warfare. And the Campaign Map -- for many, the heart of Total War -- introduces a variety of new and upgraded elements, including new systems for Trade, Diplomacy and Espionage with agents; a refined and streamlined UI; improved Advisors; and a vastly extended scope, taking in the riches of India, the turbulence of Europe and, for the first time, the untapped potential of the United States of America.

* Take command on the high seas. New real-time 3D naval warfare takes Total War's unparalleled battle action to the high seas, with players commanding single ships or vast fleets.
* Become a founding father. Starting in 1700 - The era of warfare across oceans, revolution and the founding of the United States.
* Brand new multiplayer component includes player rankings, leagues and ladders, and completely new gameplay modes.
* All new graphics engine and technology features staggering real-time seascapes, new advanced landscape and flora systems, and dynamic weather.

Exodus from the Earth  1C Company;Strategy First (Parallax Arts Studio)2008shotguns - a triple-barreled shotgun.***Latest version: retail***Exodus From the Earth is a a CyberPunk FPS taking place in 2016. Mankind believes it'll be five billion years before the Earth begins to die. However, recent findings show that the earth is living its last twenty years and the Sun is to become an ever-increasing "Red Giant", burning everything around it and turning the Earth into a lifeless hell. The population is now faced with the monumental task of either adapting human beings for living in extraterrestrial conditions, or finding an Earth-like planet where people can live.

The A.X. Corporation, which now rules the Earth, and is the largest genetic and space military engineering company, has undertaken the task of conducting research. After a while, the Corporation offered the technology that could allow human beings to survive in any alien extraterrestrial environment. On a distant planet they found a mineral from which they could produce a vaccine that would allow human beings to live in any environment. The Corporation's proposal was to inject their vaccine into every person and then move to some other planet beyond the solar system.

Despite the fact that the first experiments have been successful, the Government has been very confused being entirely dependent on the Corporation. And furthermore, nobody knows how the mineral will affect human organisms. At the same time, according to their information there was an astronaut, John Rick, who had supposedly found a so-called "Second Earth" which was a planet with an Earth-like environment. Based on secret information, John Rick returned from his space expedition and disappeared. The Intelligence Agency suspects the Corporation, headed by Jack Crizby, of removing John Rick in order to conquer all of mankind for their financial interests.

Harry Southgate, who is the head of The Intelligence Agency, has commissioned the main hero whose name is Francis Rixon, to find out what is happening inside the Corporation's confines and to get the information about the mineral and the Earth-like planet, should it really exist.

Mike Sullivan – an owl at the territory of the A.X. Corporation – is working to help Frank in reaching his goal. Mike is the Chief Security Guard of the Corporation's inside locations and his mission is to lead Frank to the head office of the A.X. Corporation where all the information might be stored.

And so the game begins...

Family Farm Iceberg Interactive (Hammerware)2011Work the farm in this game of 19th century farmsteading and build a home for your families. Clicking cows won't earn you any cash. This is a simulation of a farmstead experienced in stories which span a generation. Keep them fed, develop their skills, and grow their land in to a Family Farm! Enjoy RPG and board game mechanics designed by the creator of dozens of board games.

Improve the soil and watch the weather to grow your crops. Keep poultry and livestock. Raise a new generation to run the farm.

The game presents a bird's-eye view of the farm, with the ability to zoom in and out. The game world is tile-based, so you can easily plan fields, corrals, orchards and other game objects.

Time of a season is limited and activities take place in real-time, so you have to manage your workers efficiently. Cook meals for them and watch for their fatigue to keep them happy (and working). As family members work they improve their skills, which makes them faster . Highly skilled characters also have a much better chance of improving the farm as they work! Yields are determined by properties of crops in relation to soil fertility, weather and additional work.

It can be expensive to hire help, but it can give you time to upgrade the house to provide space for a growing family... As the family grows you can expand your farm and focus on long-term investments such as

FEIST Finji (Bits & Beasts)2015Originally appeared in form similar to what the final game is back in 2009, disappeared and re-appeared occasionally with mainly news of the devs touring around showing it off at various events.

On the game being former vaporware: It appeared in 2009 seemingly playable form, release date projected to 2012-2013, vanished at some point to appear again in 2015.******Practically vaporware by now, developer is still claiming they're working on it and they're trying to get it released this year (2013).***A journey over mountains and through deep forests lies ahead. The trail isn't told to be an easy one. Mad foes and unsafe dirt tracks are on its way. Only with cunningness and by risking to eat dodgy food one might find the power to reach the end of the journey.
