Common:
* Character creation
* Non-static character advancement
* Choice over being "good", "evil", uncaring, or whatever else (character development outside of stats)
* Open world
* More complex control scheme; and often released on PCs only due to it.
* May resemble or use already existing P&P RPGs
* Obscured identity
* Dying is frequent, happening equally all over.
