7 de 10***A Dwarven Prince on a quest to reclaim his people’s stolen land will take you on a great journey. Explore a continent filled with buried treasures and unearth mysteries that lie hidden since the Great War. Take charge of your Dwarven settlement while mining, exploring and utilizing your resources with a combination of strategy and management.

Order the inhabitants of a Dwarven settlement to dig, build and conduct research in order to strengthen the clan. Be careful though because you must defend your Dwarves from the terrible beasts that lie in the depths. A unique world is generated each time a new level starts, so you will need to dynamically adapt your strategies and tactics during each session.

As you advance, the Dwarves will level up and gain new skills; progressing from weak dwarvlings to near immortal warriors or master craftsmen. There are also rare resources to be found deeper in the earth that grant access to better buildings and equipment. However, the deeper you dig the more dangerous foes you might unleash...

Features:
* Explore – The randomly generated maps offer replayability while also providing a sense of exploration
* Build – customize your settlement with not only practical constructions, but beautiful ones too! Build objects you think look great, while still gaining progress. Home is where the art is.
* Command – With an intuitive order system the player can easily control oodles of dwarves simultaneously without the need for extensive micro management

[Box blurb]***Worlds collide in Armies of Exigo, a fantasy RTS where the boundaries of the battlefield are broken and war is waged both above and below the ground. This game takes strategy to new depths as elves, beasts, knights, and creatures of the darkness are locked in an epic battle for survival.

In the world of Exigo, where peace and prosperity have reigned for years, the empires of man and beast faces their greatest threat yet. A sinister force known as The Fallen has awaken to strike where the inhabitants of this world least expect - from underground.

Users will take control of massive armies, wage wars in the forests and river valleys of the surface, then descend into the caverns and catacombs of the underworld to face off against the dark evil.

Armies on all sides will have the ability to delve deep underground to travel unseen by foes or borrow up to the surface to unleash powerful attacks on unsuspecting enemies. The gamer must devise never before deployed strategies for combat and defense as attacks can come from all directions.

Conquer as the heavily fortified Empire and control an army of knights, dwarves, elves and gnomes. Ravage the plains with the nomadic Beasts, leading tribes of ogres, trolls and other fantastic creatures. Emerge from deep to consume the world of light with The Fallen – a powerful force of dark elves, fallen warriors, swarming insects and other horrific creatures of the dark.

Engage in an epic three-part single player campaign and save the world of Exigo from the evil that threatens to plunge the world into darkness. Or go online for massive multiplayer skirmishes with up to eight players striving to conquer the surface and underworld. Success can only be achieved through a balance of military might and strategic alliances.

* Wage war on two fronts simultaneously – above and below the surface – with a unique dual layered map system.
* Stunning 3D visuals bring the characters and environments to life.
* Immerse yourself in a fully interactive world: Blow up bridges, create avalanches to take out your enemies, cause subterranean lava flows to erupt aboveground, and dig tunnels from the surface into the caverns below.

* Change the landscape of both the surface and underground by deploying units, such as Miners, and casting spells, such as Earthquake and Volcano.

4 de 10***Deadbreed® is a creepy-themed multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game with RPG features. The game will appeal to gamers that want a deep, hardcore gaming experience and greater influence on how their character looks but more importantly plays. The hero customization factor is a major strategic and tactical game play element as you’ll figure out what equipment and play style/s work best for each of your heroes – should you play her/him as a melee warrior, ranged archer or perhaps a wizard, or are you skillful enough to adapt your hero build during the matches to counter what the enemy team is building?

Not true in newer Windows systems though.***An unusual change from the previous X-COM games which were darker and more tied to popular sci-fi fads. Although the gameplay is good and somewhat unusual, its greatest weakness is its outlook. Everything is in cheery candy wrapped colours with odd plastic shine to them, giving the game an unreal feel and makes it difficult to immerse oneself into the gameworld and feel like we really are being invaded by aliens from another dimension while some strange alien worshipping cult tries to sabotage your operations. This is not the only reason, but it just feels like it lacks a great deal to make itself stand out, especially now that the game is located on one huge megapolis rather than the whole world, so you'd expect the game to also have more detail on that accord but no, there isn't. Despite this, the game is enjoyable for some odd reason, but could've been much better.

Following the normal strategy game formula, X-COM: UFO Defense is able to remain fresh by offering new elements like ancient alien artifacts that when found give special abilities, and a highly original storyline that will keep you enthralled and engaged until the Earth is safe.***European version

Similar to the first X-COM, but much better about the situation of mass action from the beginning, a devilish difficulty (even more than the UFO Defense), a requirement of decision making as constant as cruel and the introduction of the water element and civil defense missions in the game (adds one more layer to its immense complexity) It's better than the UFO Defense.

6 out of 10***2.5D - tactical missions and most of the game is done with raster graphics, but the globe in geoscape is rendered with flat polygons for land and textured polygons for water.***This entry would still benefit from 2 screenshots, one from terror mission and another from underwater mission.***A very simple port of TFTD to Windows with no improvements or changes what-so-ever, just that it runs natively on Windows XP. X-COM: UFO Defense Hasbro Interactive (Mythos Games)1999A very simple port of UFO Defense to Windows with no improvements or changes what-so-ever, just that it runs natively on Windows XP (and doesn't even do that very well).

- Command deadly close-combat battles:
Shooting down UFOs is just the beginning; you must the lead a squad of heavily-armed soldiers across different terrains as they investigate the UFO crash site. Tackle the aliens with automatic rifles, rocket launchers and even tanks in the struggle to retrieve useful technology, weapons or life forms.

- Research and manufacture alien technologies:
Successful ground assault missions will allow X-Com scientists to analyse alien items. Each new breakthrough brings you a little closer to understanding the technology and culture of the alien races. When your engineers have amassed sufficient research data on their superior weapons and craft, they'll be available for your troops to use.

- Develop a strategy to save the Earth:
You must make every crucial decision as you combat the powerful alien forces. But you'll also need to watch the world political situation; governments may be forced into secret pacts with the aliens and then begin to reduce X-Com funding.
