Absolute armor

Video game concept

Armor, energy shields, etc. provide absolute protection for the wearer until they have been completely obliterated.

Alternate name: Absolute shields

This is not for armors that retain their full effectiveness regardless of how damaged they are, rather, this is for cases where the armor completely protects the wearer (no health damage whatsoever) regardless of how damaged it is.

Does not mean armor/shield penetrating attacks are blocked by this, as otherwise using both in same game would be meaningless (armor/shield penetrators specifically state they go through armor/shields with little to no effect on the armor/shields itself).
