Impact shock

Other (objects, etc.) concept

Getting hit, shot, or such can send the player character/vehicle reeling, shaking, staggering, or such, messing up with aim, micro stunning and/or other things.

The effect is similar to recoil, but is instead caused by the player character being attacked instead of as part of firing some weapon. Also unlike knockback, knock up, or others, impact shock can happen without any of that happening.

This is usually the primary purpose of concussive weapons (e.g. concussion grenade).
