Besides that, the concepts and gameplay elements they've invented up are quite refreshing, but don't do much in the light of the bugs that prevent you from enjoying it.

After crashing or otherwise exhibiting bugs, it is good idea to exit the game and delete Alone_Data_DFE folder and possibly drm_dyndata_*.dll file in the system temp folder. Removing these seems to at least temporarily fix any bugging, until Eden Games releases a patch for the issues.***EU 2008-06-20

Apprentice Herculean Effort Productions2003The first part of the Apprentice story introduces Lord Ironcrow, Pib (Mortimer Pibsworth), and some other main characters that span all three games. After many years of training to become a wizard, Pib is shaken by a dream in which Lord Ironcrow tries to convince the titular character to abandon his "toils of a magician" and join the army, see the world, have fun as a soldier, "Be all you can be". However, Pib really wants to be a wizard, and really doesn't want to be a soldier. In fact, he commits suicide in the dream to avoid it. This, despite the fact that being apprentice seems to consist mostly of mundane tasks, household cleaning, fanning the master with a palm frown, and even perilous tasks such as fetching the master's favorite sandwich. However, today is different, Pib is actually going to be casting his first spell. Well, that's the plan...

Pib addresses the player with his thoughts and helpful information rather than the story having a narrator or the character talking to himself.

Archon:Classic  React! Games2010The game's title is correctly written without space as "Archon:Classic", or it's an extremely common typo for the authors.***Inspired by chess, but adding combat that YOU control, Archon was the original Battle Chess. On the chessboard, when you challenge a piece, you are teleported into a Combat Arena where they fight in REAL-TIME until only the victor emerges to claim the square back on the checkered board. You must try to outmaneuver your opponent using teams of fantasy creatures or monsters in this epic struggle of Light and Dark. Conquer your opponent by defeating all of their pieces on the chess board or claim all the Power Squares for a quick victory! You can play Free-For-All mode, where it's everyone for themselves, or play using teams and gang up on your opponents pieces in battle (2 vs. 1.)

Archon:Classic can be played using USB controllers (the best way) or with keyboard and mouse. First developed in 1983, Archon quickly became a hit and instant classic because of it's unique combination of gameplay. We've recreated it to play just like the original, but we've added enhancements for today's gamer. So grab some friends and experience the classic game that started the Action/Strategy genre. It features:

* Up to 4 Player support...pure mayhem in battle!
* Play in "Free-for-All" or "Teams" mode
* USB controller support
* Optimized to run on netbooks
* 3 Different Boards (Modes) to play
* 4 AI settings
* Various spells to use
* 18 pieces per team, plus others you can summon
* Pieces gain experience and level up

* Choose modern or classic icons
* Fully Featured 1 Player Campaign called, "Conquest"

Nothing worse than playing almost through the game and the save getting corrupted for whatever reason (such as BSOD). The saves are stored in `
%APPDATA%/Ubisoft/Assassin's Creed/Saved Games/
´.***Latest version: 1.02 (as of 2008-05-14)***The story starts with Desmond Miles being kidnapped in 2012 by Abstergo Industries and put into the Animus machine, a device capable of drawing out genetic memories and allowing the user to re-live their ancestors' lives. For Desmond, this is the life of Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad (الطائر), an assassin who lived during the Third Crusade in 1191. Although the story skips the kidnapping and starts with Desmond jagged into the Animus and experiencing some synchronization issues with it.

The game is difficult to categorize and abundantly lampshaded by the fact that most of the game takes place inside the Animus which has been created to produce a video game like experience, so effectively you're playing a video game inside a video game. And the experience produced by the Animus is an abstraction of sorts with various alterations that make it easier for the user to operate it, such as translating all languages to plain English and so forth. So any inconsistencies with reality are due to that, and since memories aren't exactly logical 1 to 1 copies of reality, much illogical instances can occur, some of which can be interpreted to mean some very strange things.

Things you may need to replay the whole game for:
In memory block 4, you have a chance to pickpocket Vidic to get his security pen. This opportunity does not represent itself and replaying the memory block later does not roll back time in the "real world".

After the credits you gain access to the conference room where you need Vidic's pen to access a computer, but there's nothing else after that besides your ability to replay the memory blocks and aim for 100% completion (collecting all the flags, killing the templars, scouting, and doing all the side tasks).
***Minimum:

7 de 10***Deluxe Edition adds 3 maps: Palazzo Medici, Santa Maria Dei Frari, and the Arsenal Shipyard. Ad speech mentions secret treasures and nothing else. Unknown if this means simply florins or actual equipment.***Undefined game-play elements: blending in with the crowd, hiring prostitutes (or others?) to serve as cover (controllable crowd) or to distract those who'd wish you harm.***Continues Desmond Miles' story right where it ended in the first game, even if Altair is no longer his alter ego inside the Animus.

Assassin's Creed II  Ubisoft (Ubisoft Montreal)2009Players 'relive' the life of an assassin during the Italian Renaissance in this open-world action adventure game. The goal is to exact revenge upon conspirators who have framed and executed loved ones; the goal is to be accomplished through assassination. As players roam the crowded streets of Florence, Italy, they can creep through catacombs and corridors, undertake diverse side-missions, and tail-and-assassinate all manner of human targets—politicians, Templar soldiers, conspirators. Players can also brawl with family rivals or engage in sword fights with Templar soldiers, but in most cases, they use stealth techniques to complete the mission; for example, players can sneak up on enemies from behind and kill them with hidden daggers, poisoned daggers, spring-activated blades, and swords. When blades connect, blood shoots out in a fountain-like manner as targets groan or scream. These stealth-kills are sometimes depicted close-up and are somewhat graphic: the camera follows the 'herky-jerky' thrusts of the blade; the player hears a distinctly 'wet' flesh-impact sound. The most graphic depictions of violence occur during cinematic cutscenes (the following two scenes do not involve players' character): A businessman, crawling away from a Templar leader, gets pinned to the ground by a sword through his neck; a young nobleman is ambushed by rivals, begs for mercy, then gets stabbed multiple times in the chest amid screams of 'Muori! Mouri! Mouri!' [Die! Die! Die!]. The spurts and sprays of blood that accompany some of the stabbing attacks can be intense.

The game contains strong sexual overtones. During one 'seduction mini-game,' players are able to press buttons to kiss a woman and remove her dress; with the woman's back facing the camera, the two characters lower to bed and blow out a candle. Some scenes take place inside brothels, though no nudity or sexual acts are depicted. The dialogue contains the following sexual references: 'So the whip or the paddle today?' and 'Does your wife know about your page-boy fantasies, Captain?' Character backstories, narrated through still-frame vignettes, explain how villains and historical figures achieved their notoriety; some biographies include references to adultery, sodomy, prostitution, and rape (e.g., 'Caterina was captured and sent to Rodrigo Borgia . . . who kept her imprisoned for a year and is rumored to have raped her alongside his son.'). One cutscene depicts a man and a woman wearing translucent, flesh-toned bodysuits as they flee from danger. The digitized lighting effects, the glow from their futuristic suits, obscure most of the details, though outlines of breasts and buttocks are partially discernable (i.e., not definitively nudity). Consumers may also wish to know that the game contains strong profanity, both in English and Italian (e.g., 'f**k,' 'sh*t,' c*zzo,' and 'm*rda'); the most explicit instance occurs when a man frantically describes a 'vision'—'I'm at the opera . . . the soprano is so beautiful . . . I'm in bed with her, she cries as I f**k her.'

Assassin's Creed II  Ubisoft (Ubisoft Montreal)2009Assassin's Creed II is the product of over two years of intensive development by the original creative team behind the Assassin's Creed brand. In a vast open world environment, the game invites players to incarnate Ezio, a privileged young noble in Renaissance Italy who's been betrayed by the rival ruling families of Italy. Ezio's subsequent quest for vengeance plunges players into an epic story that offers more variety in missions, surprising and engaging new gameplay elements, diverse weapons and a profound character progression that appeal to fans of the original Assassin's Creed as well as entice players new to the brand.***data import - from [game=#171749]Bloodlines[/game] via the "Remote Play" function. Bionic Commando Rearmed  Capcom (GRIN)2008Classic side-scrolling gameplay is reporting back for duty with Bionic Commando Rearmed, a remake of the classic NES game, out now on PC.

20 years after the 8-bit classic was released, Bionic Commando Rearmed recreates the world of the original with a complete "2.5D" visual revamp. Bionic Commando Rearmed preserves the original's mix of swinging and shooting in an intense 2D side-scroller, all to the tune of a brand-new soundtrack based on the classic 8-bit music from the NES masterpiece.
But Rearmed is far more than just a remake - it features all-new modes such as the 2-player co-op play, smarter enemy AI, new bionic arm abilities, new weapons, bigger bosses and online rankings. Faithfully sticking to the story of the NES game, Bionic Commando Rearmed tells the story of Nathan "R.A.D." Spencer's first mission, sent in to retrieve captured agent Super Joe from the hands of the Imperials.
Fans of the original story can expect to see all the characters from the NES version, as well as the memorable moments that made the title so popular with fans. Rearmed will also link-up to its 3D "big brother" coming to PC, with unlockable content, in-game hints and a story that spans both games.

10 de 10***Welcome to Vegas. New Vegas.

It’s the kind of town where you dig your own grave prior to being shot in the head and left for dead...and that’s before things really get ugly. It’s a town of dreamers and desperados being torn apart by warring factions vying for complete control of this desert oasis. It’s a place where the right kind of person with the right kind of weaponry can really make a name for themselves, and make more than an enemy or two along the way.

As you battle your way across the heat-blasted Mojave Wasteland, the colossal Hoover Dam, and the neon drenched Vegas Strip, you’ll be introduced to a colorful cast of characters, power-hungry factions, special weapons, mutated creatures and much more. Choose sides in the upcoming war or declare "winner takes all" and crown yourself the King of New Vegas in this follow-up to the 2008 videogame of the year, Fallout 3.

Enjoy your stay.

Key Features
* Feel the Heat in New Vegas! Not even nuclear fallout could slow the hustle of Sin City. Explore the vast expanses of the desert wastelands – from the small towns dotting the Mojave Wasteland to the bright lights of the New Vegas strip. See the Great Southwest as could only be imagined in Fallout.
* Feuding Factions, Colorful Characters and a Host of Hostiles! A war is brewing between rival factions with consequences that will change the lives of all the inhabitants of New Vegas. The choices you make will bring you into contact with countless characters, creatures, allies, and foes, and determine the final explosive outcome of this epic power struggle.
* New Systems! Enjoy new additions to Fallout: New Vegas such as a Companion Wheel that streamlines directing your companions, a Reputation System that tracks the consequences of your actions, and the aptly titled Hardcore Mode to separate the meek from the mighty. Special melee combat moves have been added to bring new meaning to the phrase "up close and personal". Use V.A.T.S. to pause time in combat, target specific enemy body parts and queue up attacks, or get right to the action using the finely-tuned real-time combat mechanics.
* An Arsenal of Shiny New Guns! With double the amount of weapons found in Fallout 3, you’ll have more than enough new and exciting ways to deal with the threats of the wasteland and the locals. In addition, Vault-Tec engineers have devised a new weapons configuration system that lets you tinker with your toys and see the modifications you make in real time.
* Let it Ride! In a huge, open world with unlimited options you can see the sights, choose sides, or go it alone. Peacemaker or Hard Case, House Rules, or the Wild Card - it’s all in how you play the game.***EAN-13:
0093155125049
***Welcome to Vegas. New Vegas.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Capcom2007dying - Thermal Energy (T-ENG) functions as both the protagonist's health as their capacity for surviving in the cold environment, whenever they're not in a VS or indoors (which is rare) their T-ENG rapidbly drains. On "extreme" difficulty this seems to drain regardless.
undefined healing - the T-ENG reserves are depleted to restore health automatically, no T-ENG means no healing. T-ENG is gained from destroyed Akrid and from the remains of any object that managed to explode, except for grenades, rockets and your piloted VS.***Minimum:

* GeForce 8600 GPU
* X360 controller***Gameplay
For the most part it was fun, the levels were extremely small except for the vast expanses of nothing in some places. Fighting medium sized Akrid was especially fun when you didn't have a VS warming your buttocks. The largest variety were just tedious, especially the giant worm that I just avoided after trying to kill it for the fourtieth time (really, are all console games (Lost Planet is console game first and foremost) about repeating the same boss battle for half the whole playing time?) The best parts of the game were usually outdoors, indoors being mostly dull corridors or large halls (cities?) where you're most of the time stomping around with your VS. You seem to play most of the time in VS indoors and as Wayne outdoors, which is kinda funny since anyone with half-a-mind would expect this to be the otherway around. Caves were a bit of an exception for this, but caves are caves. Fighting NEVEC was the part I hated most, and it was the least sensical of it all.

Controls
Since I can configure them as I see fit, I can't really give an opinion on how good they were or not. Everything I could think of had separate button for it and nothing else. The only gripe I have is that the control instructions for the VS (there's two special buttons for VS) had this huge X360 controller showing how to use the different things on it. The problem is, I was playing with keyboard and mouse, and I had to learn them by trial and error since I couldn't make connections between the xbox controller config and my keyboard and mouse configuration (What were they thinking? That everyone has innate understanding of X360 controllers? Or even have them? I'm playing the game on PC so it's far more likely I have a keyboard and mouse in front of me than that blasted thing between my thumbs). Everything worked out well in the end, since trial-and-error works well usually. There were some issues of the controls not being responsive, or there were several different actions made to happen from the same button (only for some VS, not when running around naked with Wayne, our protagonist), this was the most obvious in the final boss battle.

Story
During the cut-scenes, I constantly got this nagging feeling that I've missed part of the story somewhere, but I couldn't figure out where. So it was greatly disjointed and oddly hurried. Quality wise the beginning started nicely, but degraded seriously over time and it was not much of a help that you had the feeling that there's parts of the story missing. The characters weren't developed much, but I don't think that was necessary, and even their own background info was only to clarify why they were there in the first place and nudge the plot forward a bit in a bit awkward manner. Of course there was also the "must" romantic affair, too. Also, the characters were awfully stereotypical, but since the game was so short, there was little chance of them being much else. There was also this strange part that you were alone running through every single Akrid hive and NEVEC base to get to some distant location while your friends lazily used alternative route on their huge ass truck / mobile base, until you joined them at the destinaton. This was never even explained, and in some cases where there was some reason to do it, they could've hauled you closer to the final target before letting you off running and gunning everything in sight. And finally, the ending was disappointing, but sadly this is the norm for almost anything except books.

Major gripes
The game suffers from the usual console game features: ridiculously over-powered boss fights compared to everything else and all too linear story/gameplay. Thermal energy meter gave nothing but another reason to die suddenly when you just happen to use some energy based weapon too much or take too many whacks to your head (Wayne regenerates to full health in seconds by taking a large dose out of your energy reserves). Really, it's just a health reserve that keeps draining itself slowly and sometimes faster (I couldn't figure out what this was based on, some articles have said it's based on the temperature of the surroundings, but that should've meant it shouldn't drop at all or maybe even increase when around volcanic actiivity, lava flow or a smelting pool in some factory). The only thing I did notice to actually cause difference was the use of energy weapons and the special abilities of the VS. Honestly speaking, the game went downhill sometime around the middle of the game when you started fighting NEVEC as much or even more than the Akrid.

Summary
Overall, I'll give it 2 out of 5. The game's emphasis is on graphics, besides that it is horribly lacking.***Supported videocards:

Lucidity LucasArts2009Vaguely similar in gameplay to Lemmings and whatever else uses the format of placing items and such in the path of character(s) to save them from various dangers so they can reach their destination. However, the objects come randomly with notice on the next object beforehand (akin to Tetris).

Essentially Lucidity is a game with the simplicity of Tetris combined with gameplay of Lemmings. Extremely simple and easy, more suited for the younger players.

Teleglitch  Test3 Projects;Paradox Interactive (Test3 Projects)20122012-11-24 Original release
2013-07-24 Die More Edition***Un shooter roguelike con una estética de pixel rancio y una dificultad elevada, a veces más por la escasez de recursos que por los enemigos per se.
Destaca por un sistema de crafteo tan extenso como sencillo de usar.

7 de 10***Teleglitch is a roguelike top-down shooter with pixel graphics. The game takes place in procedurally generated military research & training complex that has a different map every time you play. Our mission is to give players like you a chance to walk in the dark corridors, gripping their gun and few last rounds of ammunition. To play with finger on the trigger, high on adrenaline. We want to give you the, paranoid, sweaty, and bloody hard kind of fun.

The Teleglitch universe:
See the future where humanity is controlled by cold, dark mega-corporations. One of them is Miliary Technology Incorporated (aka Militech), one of the world’s largest military research organizations, specializing in necrotic tissue reactivation and nonhuman combatants (zombies, cloned battle organisms, robots etc). Far out in the edge of colonized space lies Medusa 1-C, a cheap planet with lethal atmosphere. There is only one building on the entire planet – a huge military research & training complex. Unfortunately, something goes very wrong in that base. All you know is that most of the facility personnel have been killed, microchipped and reactivated as combatants by the central processing AI of the facility. Except for yourself, a scientist with an incredibly strong will to survive.

Features:
* 20+ types of various opponents
* 40+ types of weapons and items
* 10 levels that radically change their structure every time you play
* 10+ hours of play time (it gets harder the further you get, surprise)
* Detailed Database with juicy back story and useful info of each monster
* Option to combine all weapons and items into new awesome gear, such as the can gun (empty can + nails + explosive) or the high velocity light machinegun that shoots armor piercing depleted uranium bullets (result of modding the standard assault rifle).
* A sinister narrative filled with greedy military corporations, risky experiments and will to survive.

Everything scientifically accurate, of course.***
