This is as opposed to genres that have some similarities with both or all genres but are hardly properly part of either (or one is severely downplayed), such as action-strategy, action-adventure, strategy-RPG, etc.

Not to be confused with multi-sequence games (genres work in sequence rather than "simultaneously").

Primarily for instances that don't have a specific name for the genre fusion.

It may be more beneficial to insert a fairly descriptive placeholder name for the genre and list in among other such (in placeholder genres) instead of using this tag. Though if there's no other games of similar genre mix, this tag still is better choice.
