Animated skeletons

Creatures theme

Skeletons - animated and held intact by magic, supernatural spirits, or something else - often seen as part of more fantastic undead, unaffected by many ailments that those made of flesh suffer of.

The first video game about Animated skeletons was released on June 1979.

Konami, SSI and Nintendo has published most of these games

Besides the lack of anything that would allow motion for a skeleton (muscles), they also lack anything with which to see with (eyes), speak with (throat, voice box, lips), think with (brains), they also lack anything that actually holds the structure of bones upright and cohesive (ligaments and muscles), and some other things. Most or all of which is handwaved with Magic.
