Involves humans or other sentient creatures unwillingly being subjected to experiments.

Notable people involved: Alex Quick, Jonathan Clark, Doung Dai Nguyen, Murray Macmillan and Bobby Prince

Alternate name: Experiments on sentients

Applies whether or not the player gets to see the actual experimentation themselves, as long as the effects of them are somehow encountered.

Most commonly this involves biological tests performed on people in an attempt to create new creatures or enhance pre-existing ones, often in the form of testing how humans some viral or biological agent (such as some parasite) could be incorporated into humans without adverse effects..

Cases of human experiments on willing (consent with full knowledge of the nature of the experiments) individuals can still be tagged with this but as less significant case (mention it in a comment or something).
