Building anything requires people, robots or such that build them.


The first video game about Builders was released on November 23, 1994.

Blizzard, Blizzard Entertainment and Electronic Arts has published most of these games

Without this it's assumed that the buildings "build themselves", a fairly common thing in city building games..

These may be specialized builder units/creatures or just any free henchman that decides to do the building.

This tag is applicable regardless if the builders are dedicated to solely build things or not, as long as building things requires them.

This effectively means that building can be prevented either by defeating the builders or blocking them.

The parent workers tag should only be used if workers are needed on the work sites, not when builders are needed for building. Even though the concepts are related, they do not exist always together (in RTS games it's fairly common to have builders, workers in general are extremely rare outside of 4X games).
