Especially cases which seem arbitrary, such as gun shot causing blindness for 3 turns or a sword slash causing sleep. This includes poison/disease that wears off after a set time (or simply after combat) and similar things.
Common:
* Slow
* Blindness
* Sleep
* Poison / disease
* Bind / hold
* Confusion
* Stun
Notes:
* Usually games with these detrimental effects have a way to cause the opposite as well, often by drinking/eating something or through literal magic.
* When these start making sense, something else besides this tag should be used.
* Most commonly seen in console RPGs.
